Experience That Understands Children
Three decades of teaching have taught me that success begins with relationships. I recognize learning blocks early and adapt instruction so students feel capable and proud of their progress.
Calm, creative, and customized support that helps elementary students thrive — in school and beyond. With Lisa Holliday, a certified retired teacher of 30+ years.

“After 30+ years in the classroom, I understand how kids learn best — when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely excited by what they’re doing.”
Lisa Holliday · Founder

“Every child learns differently — and my approach reflects that.”
Meet Lisa Holliday
I’m Lisa Holliday, a certified and retired elementary teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience helping children discover the joy of learning. I created Noble Mind Learning & Enrichment to give students the patient, personalized support they need to grow in confidence, skill, and curiosity.
Every child learns differently, and my approach reflects that — calm, individualized instruction that meets children where they are and helps them move forward at their own pace. My goal is to make learning feel encouraging, manageable, and even fun again.
What Makes Noble Mind Different
Most tutoring chains run kids through identical math drills. Noble Mind is built around relationships, individual pacing, and the simple truth that confident learners do better — in every subject, for the rest of their lives.
Three decades of teaching have taught me that success begins with relationships. I recognize learning blocks early and adapt instruction so students feel capable and proud of their progress.
Tutoring isn't just about homework. My Art & Craft Club gives students a chance to express imagination, build focus, and experience success through hands-on projects.
Learning should fit your family's schedule and comfort level. I offer sessions in-home, online, or in my home classroom, along with small-group and Micro School options for collaborative learning.
With full fingerprint clearance, CPR training, and decades of school experience, your child's safety and well-being are always my top priority.
Five Ways I Help Children Thrive
Whether your child needs focused support, a small learning community, or hands-on enrichment brought to a local venue, every experience is shaped around young learners — not a franchise curriculum.
Patient, personalized instruction tailored to your child's needs.
Less homework battles. More confidence.
A small, nurturing learning community built around the whole child.
Hands-on STEM experiences at Lisa's local office or brought directly to your venue.
Creative, hands-on projects that nurture focus and imagination.

Art & Craft Club
Our Art & Craft Club integrates creative expression with learning — helping children develop patience, focus, and joy in making things with their hands. Many students who freeze in “academic” settings find their voice here first — and bring that confidence back to reading, writing, and math.

Names changed to protect privacy. Every child here came to me feeling stuck — and left feeling capable. These are the moments parents tell me are worth more than any grade on a report card.
Emma · 2nd Grade
When Emma first came to me, she dreaded reading aloud and often said, “I'm just bad at reading.” Through patient practice, gentle correction, and praise for her progress, she began reading short stories with confidence. After a few months, she volunteered to read a passage in class — something she once refused to do. Her mom told me she now reads bedtime stories to her younger brother.
Noah · 4th Grade
Noah's parents described nightly tears and frustration over homework. Together, we built a routine that broke assignments into smaller steps and included short “success check-ins.” Within weeks, Noah completed his homework with far less stress — his parents noticed evenings were peaceful again, and he started taking pride in finishing on his own.
Ava · 3rd Grade
Ava would freeze when faced with math problems. We worked on replacing fear with curiosity — using real-life examples, visual aids, and small wins. Gradually, she began saying, “I can figure this out.” By the end of the semester, she had moved from avoiding math to helping classmates.
Liam · 5th Grade
When Liam started, he rarely spoke during lessons, worried about making mistakes. I encouraged him to share one idea per session, no matter how small, and celebrated each attempt. Soon he was initiating questions and beaming when praised for his insights. His teacher later shared he'd become one of the most engaged students in his class.
Stories are more memorable than descriptions — and your family’s next chapter could start here.
